Resolutions

Here we are almost in the middle of January and I haven’t even started to write a post about my resolutions. Like the 5,098,409 other people around the nation I am promising myself a 2013 with a fit, healthy, lifestyle. I am not obsese or bone thin. I am average, I’d like to think. 

So every time I tell someone I am trying to eat healthy and work out I hear “You are so skinny. You don’t need to lose weight!” When in reality this journey has nothing to do with weight, being skinny, being, fat. It’s all about being healthy, about a balanced diet, and healthy activity. I have been logging my food in a diary on My Fitness Pal app on the iphone. They also have a website and I must say its awesome http://www.myfitnesspal.com/. I log my food, my exercise and it really helps me stay on track. I have also been doing Zumba on the xbox kinect and it is insanely fun. I feel so relaxed afterward and great about myself in general. It keeps track of the calories I burn, the activities I do on it, and my progress in general. The best part is the kids see me doing exercise and will stand behind me trying to do the Zumba moves as well 🙂 Between those things and my friends fitness page on facebook, [www.facebook.com/pages/amandaschisslerfitness] I am completely motivated to get myself in a healthy and energized way of life that doesn’t consist of sitting in front of the TV with my white cheddar snow balls all night long!
